Hi! I’m Vera and I'm a jewelry designer. «handmadeblossom» is my brand name.
i use baked polymer clay to create my works. Each petal of my flowers is handcrafted. My jewelry looks fragile, but it's not like that at all! Don't worry about damaging or getting them wet. The flowers bend, but take the initial shape
All my life I have lived in cold Siberia, where winter lasts for more than six months. Sometimes the constant white landscape from the window evokes a kind of melancholy. But I love flowers so much and I wanted bright colors in my life. For the first time in 2010 I came across some girl making beads for dreadlocks. She did it so beautifully and the works were such colorful and different. I was very interested in this because I have always loved all kinds of handmade, especially ceramics, sculpture and painting. But for these activities, you need a lot of space and huge ovens to bake. Then I found the info it was polymer clay. It looks like plasticine, but can be baked in a home oven. It just amazed me. It quickly became my favorite hobby. This is really a magic material that allows you to create the thinnest but strong flower petals. Since then, i've been modeling almost every day and I think my skill has improved a little :) I hope you’ll like my creations.
For a long time I was selling my work on etsy, but recently the sales commissions have increased a lot and I realized that I need to go further and therefore I am glad to welcome you on my personal website!
